Dynamic Query Generator Tool for e-RMCWH (Rural Maternity and Child Welfare Home) will be used in the RMCWH Health centers of Kasturba Medical College (KMC) and Hospitals. The motivation is to simplify the work of analyzing the patient records who visit the RMCWH health centers and related departments. Each centre is staffed by 2 Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANM), one ayah and a sanitary worker. When patients visit these health centers and hospitals, the corresponding details will be entered into the database by the workers of RMCWH. So the there will be a huge amount of records in the database and getting the right information by searching multiple database tables will be a challenging task. So, this product is specially designed and developed to generate SQL queries to retrieve the necessary information from a set of interconnected databases, which is very helpful for the ordinary people who are unfamiliar with database operations or SQL Queries. e-RMCWH is the electronic version of the Rural Maternity and Child Welfare Home (RMCWH), which is primarily responsible for providing healthcare and medical facilities to expecting mothers and children below five years of age. It has been deployed and field tested in six out of the seven RMCWH centers under the KMC healthcare system in Karnataka. The Dynamic Query Generator Tool is used by doctors, interns and NGOs to extract relevant information from the e-RMCWH database by generating and executing predefined queries.
